These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of Rounds Record Swap (the "Service"), operated by Screendoor Studio Inc. ("we," "us," or "our").

By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree to these Terms, you may not access or use the Service.

You must be at least 13 years of age to use this Service. By using the Service, you represent that you are at least 13 years old.

Rounds Record Swap is a vinyl record exchange club platform that allows users to:

• Create or join vinyl record exchange clubs
• Participate in exchange "rounds" where members are paired to swap records
• Track their vinyl collection ("crate") of received albums
• Connect with other vinyl enthusiasts

The Service facilitates connections between members but does not participate in, guarantee, or take responsibility for the actual exchange of physical records between users.

You agree not to:

• Harass, abuse, or threaten other members
• Engage in fraudulent exchanges (intentionally sending damaged, incorrect, or worthless items)
• Fail to send a record after being paired in an exchange
• Use the Service for spam or promotional purposes
• Post illegal, offensive, or harmful content
• Impersonate other users or entities
• Attempt to circumvent security measures
• Use the Service for any unlawful purpose
• Collect or harvest user information without consent
• Interfere with or disrupt the Service

The Service integrates with third-party services including Discogs (for album information), Supabase (for data storage), Resend (for emails), and Vercel (for hosting). Your use of these services through our platform is subject to their respective terms of service and privacy policies.

We are not responsible for the content, policies, or practices of third-party services.

We specifically disclaim:

• Any warranty that the Service will be uninterrupted, secure, or error-free
• Any warranty regarding the quality of records exchanged between members
• Any responsibility for the conduct of members
• Any guarantee that members will fulfill their exchange obligations
• Any responsibility for shipping delays, loss, or damage

Our total liability for any claims arising from your use of the Service shall not exceed the amount you have paid us for the Service (which is $0 for this free service).

Some jurisdictions do not allow the exclusion or limitation of certain damages, so some of the above limitations may not apply to you.

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Screendoor Studio Inc. and its officers, directors, employees, and agents from any claims, damages, losses, or expenses (including reasonable attorney's fees) arising from:

• Your use of the Service
• Your violation of these Terms
• Your violation of any rights of another person or entity
• Any records you ship through exchanges facilitated by the Service

We may modify these Terms at any time. If we make material changes, we will notify you by posting the updated Terms on this page and updating the "Last updated" date.

Your continued use of the Service after changes are posted constitutes your acceptance of the modified Terms. If you do not agree to the changes, you should stop using the Service.

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Alabama, United States, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.

Any legal action or proceeding arising from these Terms shall be brought exclusively in the state or federal courts located in Alabama, and you consent to the jurisdiction of such courts.

If any provision of these Terms is found to be unenforceable or invalid, that provision will be limited or eliminated to the minimum extent necessary, and the remaining provisions will remain in full force and effect.

These Terms, together with our Privacy Policy, constitute the entire agreement between you and Screendoor Studio Inc. regarding your use of the Service.
